is anyone haveing problems with a rattling passenger seat. I have been to the dealer 5 times and they cant isolate the problem.
they isolated the wire harness and put foam around it --- didnt help
they added more foam to the bottom seat cushion --- didnt help
removed foam from seat cusion --- didnt help
...
Five different attempts to fix the problem and they still cant get rid of that rattle. I have now told them that i want them to replace the entire seat. I am waiting for them to get back to me...

I've had the problem since I got the car. It's been to the dealer twice and they could not fix it. I posted this same topic a while back and it seems many have had this problem. There were several possible fixes mentioned but none worked for me. Do the search and you'll see a few things to try. Good luck, David

The three possible remedies mentioned in the earlier thread were as follows:
1) Use leather conditioner where the seatback meets the seat bottom.
2) Keep the seat as far back as possible.
3) Keep the lumbar support dialed up as much as possible.
I had the seat rattle, tried all three, and the problem went away. Not sure which was actually the solution but didn't really care since the rattle departed. Hope that helps.

I had the exact same problem...returned to the dealer several times...they tried their best....finally gave up in frustration.......and gave me a whole new seat....that fixed it.........all the other strange noises, squeeks, and vibration sounds disappeared when I got rid of those %**&^#$* run flats and put on the Michelin a/s pilot sports.
