20" rims
Vary new at this, just brought a new SC 430. Hate the wheels that they put on. Thinking about putting on 20x8.5 front and 20x9.5 rear. Want to know if this would give me problems on the ride quailty and rubbing, etc... And what size can i get on the tires.
thanks for your reponse

What will happen if i put the 20" rims in? I'll read somebody forum and they said something about you have to be careful with the sensor when you put the wheels and tire in the car. If i bring it to the shop will they know what they doing? Oh, do you know the offset of the car?

The sensors are located in the valve stems of the wheels. Some aftermarket wheels have valve stems that can accomodate them, but most don't. Alternatively, the sensors can be banded to the wheels with straps to make them work. Some custom wheel manufacturers do provide the straps & instructions to do that when you ordered from them.
I'm not sure about the exact offset of the stock wheels, but the aftermarket wheels I have on my SC430 now have the exact size & width as the stock wheels(18 x 8) & their offset is 38. With wheels of different size & width, a different offset would be required. You shouldn't have to worry about this if you plan to order new aftermarket wheels as the dealer/manufacturer will find out for you the right offset for the specifications of the wheels you order.
