I can't see a lot of difference in the photos, but I think the lower picture is the silver, which I prefer.

The chrome is a little too flashy for a car which prides itself on being elegant .

I do like the design of the wheels, as well.

What would 4 of those set me back?

Yes, silver has the look without the glitz!

I would pick chrome only if it's a white SC. Otherwise, silver.

I agree, but I also love the brushed aluminum that Lowenhart is using lately. They call it Diamond Cut Face and its beautiful. Honestly, there are a few wheels that actually look better with the Diamond Cut than chrome, like the LDR.

I do not really like the LDR in chrome, but look at it in Diamond Cut.

I'm also a chrome man but I am really digging color matched also. Do some searches....dazzmotorsport, maido.com, maya.com, visionautosports.com, etc. These websites have good pics of high end cars with varying types of wheels.

Too flashy? This car is one of the flashiest on the road today. I have an SC in Midnight Pearl and a 2003 SL 500 in Silver. The SC turns heards at all times whereas the SL gets a lot of ho hum looks. Chrome or Silver is strictly a matter of opinion.

I like full polish, not as bling as chrome, but shinier than silver.

Silver is definitely the way to go, I do agree though that chrome works well depending on the color. More important keep it looking classy and not thugged out.

Which is a very good reason not to want to make it more so by adding chrome wheels. As they say, "less is more".
