Default AC filter

I couldn't remove the 2 pins holding the glove compartment. I turned them counter-clock wise but still could not remove the pins to lower the glove compartment to get access to the AC filter. Anyone knows how to do this please advice.

take your time and use a light to see wich way the pins are facing, they'll come out. I changed my filter 1,2,3 it will work.

Proxy: You are right. I should have good lighting. Do you mean looking at the part of the pin that is just outside the side wall of the glove compartment? Thanks for the advice.
