Default Center Console Removal

I just installed my Luxlink (very cool). Anyway, I accidentally dropped my key behind the center console as I was trying to place it near the ignition keyswitch. Does anyone know how to remove the console? Better yet if someone has a PDF of the screw locations that would be even better. Thanks for the help.

Hey Tony, hopefully somebody with knowledge will chime in, but I remember reading it was a b*tch to remove. Or more accurately, to put back on without scratches and without affecting the motorized door's operation.
If you want to remove it just for the key, I'd buy a new one man. I've been looking for a service manual, but apparently it's still not out for my '04 (time to check again). The console is exactly the same since day 1 however, so I'm sure there're people with service manuals out there to help you.

Have a great weekend.

If you can see the keys either directly or with a mirror then you might be able to fish them out with a bent coat hanger. A camping headlight is really useful for these tasks. If you can't get to them then either have the dealer fetch them for you or get a new set of keys.
