Hi Al,
That front debadging thing is really easy (one screw and a black sharpie). You should give the wife the choice.
I like the black/ecru too (Ecru is the only interior color that's right Washington summers). I nearly bought one of those before I found the red. I'm a black car fan. When I went looking for my first SC400, I insisted that I would only look at black ones. Then I tripped over a very nice, priced right, Rally Red one (pictures of that are also in my gallery) and the rest is history, three red SC4xxs in a row.
You also like those Germans. Today, I hope they all have heated seats.
