I'm sad to say that I will be signing off of the SC430 forum but at the same time I am overjoyed. I just picked up my '05 AMG SL 55 (Black, light grey interior, panorama roof, 19" AMG 2 piece wheels plus other options). I know that I could have bought 2 SC's and have money left over but I guess deep down in side I am truly a Mercedes person. The one thing I can say is at full throttle in 2nd gear this thing takes off like a rocket ship. I tried to get the optional book of speeding tickets but they don't have them in California. Perhaps I'll just mail in my license on Monday.

That is a nice addition. But shouldn't you buy two of those? Because, while one is on the shop you can drive the other one... and when the first one is done, then the 2nd one should be ready to go back to the shop..... heehee Just kidding... but truely good luck with the ride though.

If I have the dough, I would have both a SL & a SC430 in my garage

As soon as we get a nice sunny day here, I'll post some pic's. Thanks for all of the kind words and Sexy SC what you had suggested to have both the SC and SL is exactly what my wife wants to do. Since I did not trade and bought the car outright, I may consider it. I am not going to give away the SC but for whoever might be interested the car is for sale. Midnight Pine Pearl, TRD chrome wheels, Clear bra on hood, front bumper, headlights, fog lights and mirrors, weather tech dark green car cover and 1900 miles. Does anyone have an idea as to what would be a fair price?
Thanks,

Congrats on your new AMG SL. Wow only 1900 miles on your SC430!!! Keep your SC430 as a grocery getter

The SC430 is frequently my grocery getter too It's usually my weekend car, & that's when I get most of my groceries. You'd be surprise how much groceries it can hold for 2 -3 person anyway.

I already have two other Mercedes as replacements. Don't think I need another $140,000 car.

That's been my biggest surprise about this this car, seriously. You really can get a lot in that trunk with the top up.

Sam,
Her comment wasn't what you said. She just looked at me and said "Are you sure you are allright".
You have met her and I'm sure you can see her saying that.

Kindest Regards,

Lou
