They used Haltech. Intake will be moved to access air around the radiator. They will be modifying the bracket to allow piping to run under the supercharger.

I was waiting for SRT to give me a modified bracket and new pulleys. They dont seem to be available to make or order these parts. I ordered pulleys myself and it took three days. SRT's placed order is "pending".
At this point I'm going to take the bracket to a local machine shop to get the modifications made. I just have to find a Haltech tuner in the area.

Is it a case of "now they have your check and now they are not that motivated"
Can SRT tune your Haltech??

Actually paid them in full in Jan. They completed it the day of Lexfest. Mo's a talented person, just seems like the less profitable projects get put by the wayside. I dont feel like waiting until Lexfest 2006 to get my bracket. Yes, SRT can tune the Haltech, I'm just looking at other options. Dont want to be tied to one tuner.

Yeah I hear ya. Mo does know the Lexus in and out but It is nice to have your car to drive more than a few times a year. I'm sorta going thru that with my car and the body shop. He's good and gave me a good deal but in and out of the shop for 2-3 weeks just to redo stuff is getting old.
Hang in there.

Just an update. The car is in for winter mods. I just ordered the Ross pistons and the Pauter rods for the engine build. The engine will be blinged for show. I may go with a direct port nitrous setup. TC and LSD will be installed during engine build. I have a couple body mods that I'll disclose later.....

my computer at work is slow, but you can search for torque converter and supra lsd with forced induction in the GS forum

basically, for NA (gs) cars, the recommended setup is 2800 stall speed tq converter with the supra auto 3.76 lsd. that's what i have on my car and it's a perfect combo, car is super responsive and pickup is insane. i don't see any reason why the sc430 will be different

however, for FI cars, you want to tone down. some people put FI on after the tq converter and 3.76 lsd and they ran into serious problem in hitting rev limiter. they tried better fluids and such with no hope. basically the 3.76 gear makes the car rev too fast and the high stall speed also affects it.

what they did was to put in 2600 stall speed tq con with the original pumpkin (3.26 gears), but put in the trd lsd unit instead. overall the car becomes not as responsive (i think davegs4 said it once) but the rev limiter problem was gone. overall it's smoother

oh and if you havent' done it, valve body upgrade will help the shifting to be faster and more precise as well. that helps on the limiter issue too

tht's what i know so far. i don't pay as much attention to FI so my knowledge might be limited

These are photos of the Ross Pistons and Crower rods that came in. The engine work is a little behind but we are getting there. You guys are killing me with all your mods while I'm waiting on my car to get out of the shop. Just a note.....the pauter rods were nixed in favor of the Crower. These are the guys that build the Team Lexus motors so I trust their judgement.

Are you replacing the pistons and rods to beef up the engine for more HP or to lower the compression ratio to up the boost.? Maybe both.
Man, has SRT had youur car forever or what

I'm beefing up for more horsepower. The pistons and rods are the wink links in this engine. I'm keeping the stock compression. I dont want the drop in boost, given the setup that I have. The car is not at SRT. They had it for most of the year last year and I decided not to go that route again. I pulled the engine myself and shipped it to Quicksilver race engines. They had to wait for the rods to be custom made.

What kind of HP you looking to get 500,600? Sound like it will be a sweet beast when your done.
where is Quicksilver race engines?
Just curious about what does it cost to replace pistons & rods? Is there anything else that should be done /replaced while the engine apart? port and polish?,
