anyway, first of all i assume you got the right offset rim. if the offset if wrong, then it will rub no matter what profile you put on, either 35 or 30
the reason for TR to say is is, if you put on 245/35/20, your wheels are overspec, meaning the overall diamter is about 1" larger than the stock setup. if you want to retain the stock diameter you need 245/30/20
is it worth it? well i will give you all the points
1) larger diameter mean the speedo will be off by around 3% i think, so when you see you going at 80mph, you are at around 83mph
2) with 245/35, when you turn the steering wheel al lthe way, the wheel will rub the front and the back of teh wheel well. very lightly, but touching. but you shouldn't be going fast anyway
3) if you lower your car enough, with the 245/35, when you hit a bad dip, it might rub the top of the wheel well. this depends on how low you lower your car
so that's all the issue. do i worry? no.... i have gs400 and i have 20s with the same tire setup in the front. i have those rubbing issues mentioned but i am a very happy owner as well
