I suppose it's a scan from the mag ? A scan can sometimes distort shapes & lines so we can't really tell for sure . . .

Yes I do understand that but there is a ground why people say there will be a big facelift.
In Japan the SC is sold as a Toyota Soarer like most people know, but Toyota is officially
going to launch Lexus in Japan from this summer.
To start out with, Lexus Japan is going to reveal the new GS, IS and SC.
It is widely said that the new Lexus cars (in Japan) will have a price tag with an additional
$10000 or so compared to the previous Toyota models (such as the Aristo and Soarer)
The GS and IS is going to have a full model change so that is not such a problem but the SC
will not.
Imagine what the customers would say to hear that he has to pay $10000 more when he
can hardly tell the difference from the -MY04 Soarer?
Do you now see why Lexus would likely give a big facelift to the SC?
Living in Japan, I personally hope its a minor & subtle facelift where most people can't even tell
the difference

Well, comparing the shot out of the magazine and a picture from the Lexus website, this does seem like a believeable refreshed SC.





It looks like the lower part of the front fascia has been changed, and it even looks like the exterior shape and interior components of the headlights might be different. I probably wouldnt expect much else aside from maybe new wheels, a new color or two, the 6AT, and different tail lights.

Oh well, we'll see.

well we have many kinds of magazines like this, it is focused on pre-release
info, scoop shots, stuff like that.
sometimes its just bs, sometimes its true news intentionally leaked...

Oh I'm japanese. I liv in japan.
But the mags are called "best car" "mag-x" "car top" etc
you might find them at japanese book stores in gardena torrance costamesa
and elsewhere?
used to liv in torrance for a few years and LA is a great place

well the sc430 is still faster than a lot of cars. it's no where classified as a really fast car, no lexus is as a matter of fact. did i say it? if you read what i have been saying all the time, lexus is not making cars fast enough. they are decent fast, but not very fast

I like fast cars & would like Lexus to make faster cars, but saying ANY car with a 0-60 time of 6 sec. or less is not fast enough is ridiculous IMO
