Lexus SC430---2002 - Spare Tire
Anyone know where or how to get a temporary/ spare tire for my Lexus? I hate to pay the $900 that the dealership wants to convert my trunk over. I live in OK....Thanks

I am doing the same as the Aston Martin company does. Buy an air compressor ($70) and a can of sealant. I also have a tire repair kit. Another suggestion which might be cheaper than the rear tire installation is AAA.

plus, most of the high performance tires, if you put those sealant in, i thought the tire is gone?

I have another question about sealant. Will it work with the tire pressure sensors that we have in the SC430? The cans of sealant that I've seen are "sprayed" into the valve stems. That means that the sealant just goes into the tire, and seals the leak from inside, right? So, if the tire pressure sensors are inside the wheels, won't the sealant get all over the sensors?
