After burning an audio Cd, to play it on other systems like your car , you must "close" the CD in a certain way with the burning software or otherwise it will not play except on your pc. Of course if it plays everywhere but your car, then thats not the problem.

ah, very good point, make sure you close the cd after burning. there is an option for that on the screen before you start the burning process

Default My advise to you is !!!!

To play burned Cd's ...

1 - Use a brand name CDR (upto 700 minutes). Do not use CDRW.

2 - Use either NERO or Roxio (be sure you convert the track from MP3 to CD Audio)

3 - Put a label ( paper label) on the CD. I had problems with CDR's getting stuck in the CD changer in my 2002 LS430 with Mark and NAV. The dealer told me to put a label on the CDR. No problems after that .

Take Care

Be careful about the lables. I had one partially come off inside the changer in my Avalon. Had to get the entire unit replaced.

DO NOT PUT LABELS on the cdr. there have been a lot of incidents with the cdr jammed inside the cd changer and needed dealership to replace the whole unit.

so never put on labels, that thin piece of paper means a lot. i have never put any labels on mine and they have been perfect

Not a good idea to put labels on CDs - especially if you're going to play them in your car.

Use a Sharpie to label your CDs. They have the proper soft point and best ink formulation for CDs.
