Early on, a few members reported this--and the first time I brought mine up to speed
I was concerned this might happen to me. It didn't, nor have there been any further reports here until yours. I think we became more aware of the SC's sensitive low-pressure light and kept our tires inflated accordingly.
Pages 47 and 302 in the owner's manual state that extra pressure is needed for extended periods of driving above 112MPH. I think that might be your answer.
Also, I noticed a post of yours about a year and a half ago stating you were having pressure light problems after replacing your runflats. Not sure how you resolved this, but it's worth noting that if the sensors were not properly attached then, you could be having further problems.
Hope this helps.

ok, thanks. i never read those pages.....
i have my tires in the low 40s PSI....
don't want to over inflate since it's hot in calif during summers ,...
but i don't always drive that fast....it's only short sprints of speed so...
anyway, thanks for the info.

oh yes! mine came on at 125-130. maxed at 140. never tried to attempt anything beyond 140mph. i'm running 40-42 psi.
i still got to bring my baby into the shop to check my right rear because i lose 20 psi every week.
could be a leak or something else. the dang light keeps coming on if all 4 tires aren't the same psi range.
for now, I just make a pit stop and fill it so the light goes out. a bit of a hassle.

yeah, you probably have a nail in it ... just rotate it and check it...
i get a nail every other month....
i just pull it out and use the reamer to clean the hole/make it bigger, then plug with a vulcanized rubber.....
no need to bring it to tire shops.... works perfectly for nail punctures....
