the thread right below you is about the 2006 facelift release, and you are asking the same questions?
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=163726

just kidding man. we have tons of info here, search is always a good idea. welcome to clublexus

in short, for 2006, you get:
new headlights
new taillights
new dash cluster
new front bumper
new wheels
6 speed tranny

Well, nobody would know when the SC will be completelly redesigned except Lexus. But I would say with a newly refreshed 06 model, it should last at least another 2-3 model years.

I think that's a reasonable estimate. Lexus refreshed the LS in '04 and there will be a new model in '07, if I'm not mistaken? Maybe the same kind of timeline for the SC... refresh in '06, new in '09? It's all speculation, of course.

haha sorry about that man, but i was just joking too

with this facelift, i dont' think the new sc will come out in another 2-3 yrs. should you get this? hard to say. no one even know the spec yet so there is no comparison. so basically, if you like the current one, just get it

veryme,

Oh yeh! the 330ci is nice.

the handling is super-sharp. the grip on the road is above average. Good seating but a little stiff on the bottom, though. It's a driver's machine and it's meant to be driven, sometimes hard and harder.

What was wrong w/ the 330ci that you disliked?

yup that's how i feel about the 330 too. the seat is very nice and supportive but i think they could have put a bit more cushion at the bottom

Hey Teeman3 ,,

how are you ,, i hope ur well ,,

well ,, believe it or not ,, there is nothing wrong with the 330 ,, its great ! my only problem is the company ,, the service ,, maintanince , you know ?? they fool me with my eyes open ,, they r just fools ! they are stealing ,, with me agreeing on it ,, and thats just outrageous !! ,, believe me you dont wanna know about the long list of repairs they think my car needs ,, not even the price !!

Thank God dad and my uncles own a lil garage, saved me a lot of money ,,

u see i first had a GS300 (2001) AND Lexus here in Kuwait treat you so great ,, they always give me a replacement car even when i come with no appointment ,, they always do great discounts for me ,, they would never let me leave the company unsatisfied. They always always always fix the right things ,, and let me add this ,, before the warranty was gonna expire ,, they called me and said ,, look were gonna change whatever needs to be changed in your car on our bill ,, you dont have to pay a dime ,, i mean ,,, WHO DOES STUFF LIKE THAT !?!?!

veryme,

That sounds awesome. I've always received top notch service from Lexus, from the sales to finance to service. You can't go wrong w/ the new '06 SC430.

According to what other's are speculating, it looks like '08 will be a refresh.

But if you can't wait that long, at least you'll have something that many other convertibles don't have, a drop top hard top w/ the latest and greatest technology (engine, comfort, reliability, ML sound system, luxury, and so on) on the market today.

The other drop tops (if money is no issue), some of my fav's :

SL500/SL55 AMG drop top hard top
SLK 350 drop top hard top
M3 convertible soft top
BMW 6 series convertible soft top
Aston Martin DB9 hard top or soft top
Bently continenel coupe
Maserati coupe or convertible
Porsche Boxter (s-type) soft top
Porsche 911 or carrera coupe
BMW Z8 (James bond version)

Good Luck hunting.....teeman3
