discoloration of LCD screen?

i have started to notice some discoloration around the edges of the LCD screen. (not the one for the stereo, but the one on top which shows temps and is never "covered" like the other screens.)

i am wondering if this is from excessive exposure to the sun? anyone else have this? TIA.

If its still under warranty just have Lexus replace the screen. I got a used one and both screens were foggy and they replaced them with brand new screens for free.
