Would love the one for the airbag. How much was it? I had a friend in Japan also say its not worth it so he just sent me the ones for the back of the seat. Thanks.

 

you guys are cracking me up.... The airbag is roughly about what Henry stated (I forgot exactly how much.... getting old... sigh~) Hey Jeff, if you are serious I will find out for you. Maybe you and I can each get a set including the emblem in the back of the seat.

800 bucks for airbag, believe me, that's hella cheap for what it is. get an airbag here and tell me what price you can get (new).

i'm game...I have no intention of taking off the L but the griffins for the back would be cool...let me know...hopefully the price won't hold back my NSX project

 

i am sure mark will get you the figure. he told me the price too but i forgot as well, just make sure you are papared.

 

I saw this on ebay ...it might work and you could probably sell the steering wheel seperately since its the wrong wood grain.

Would anyone out here want to buy/trade my JDM parts?
Here is what I have:
Floormats, Door sills, trunk sills(or whatever you call it), and seatbacks.

Interior color is saddle(brown).
I debadged all emblems and threw it away so I don't have it.
Airbags, I changed it to a Toyota "T" so its not the griffin one.
Wood audio flap, I hear it is very hard to take off just the cover.
Floormats are not in mint condition as the vehicle has run 65000km so far.

One big problem if anyone desires to do a "trade".
I must be 100% trustable on who I am doing the trade with, although I am fully aware
that I myself may not be appearing as trust worthy here.
This is sad to say but some guy at a honda forum disrespected me before and he
never sent what he was suppost to after recieving what I gave....

 

would be wrong interior color for me...

btw, for the floormats, what color are they? i thought they are black in all cases? at least in my saddle interior mine are black with gold/orange lexus wordings

btw, just a wild guess. once the sc430 is out in japan later this yr, i am sure you can get all the necessary lexus parts over there as well huh?

 

Exactly. I am sure I will be able to get factory lexus parts at a local dealer, plus I am not
so into the USDM mod so I don't really care but its better if you can trade because all you
have to pay for is the shipping.

The audio flap I am talking about is the big wood piece that hides the whole audio system.
Doesn't it say "LEXUS" with gold letters? Well mine says "SOARER" but I hear that the whole
thing is all put together.
Someone I know from a body shop told me that it is not impossible to take just the wood off,
but its not a simple bolted on thing.
You see we can't swap the whole audio since we have different radio frequency.

The floor mats I do remember it was black, in fact I think it had gray stripes or some kind of
pattern, which I would never willingly get unless I am a big JDM fan.
I will post pics of these later on just incase anyone has any interest.

 

ah gotcha. serioulsy i dont' remember if it says anythig on the wood flap. maybe it says lexus. we hardly put that down, and i don't even have the car with me now

maybe you can take some pics of the items, i am sure someone would be interested, especially the doro sills, etc... i always have to go to my supervisor (read: wife) so it's never easy
