Parents help me paid 1/2 on my 97SC.... the rest is history.... I am telling you, don't get into accounting profession.... and you will probably drive something nicer than the SC!
Yeah? Don't get into tv news... you can't make more than an accountant for several years AND you have to work weekends and holidays !

Around Hawaii, all the people that own SC430's are much older then me. I think Im the only one on this island that actually bought one at my age. When the other SC430 owners look at me they all have a puzzled look on their face, thinking its my parents car. I dropped $33,500 down and I financed the rest with no help from my parents. I really want a new NSX lol

it's hard to get a correct estimate here because the people on this forum are generally younger than most

Awesome Mike, working hard is a must but I don't know about gambling part because I don't have luck with gambling. Parents paid for my school (college and master, really really appreciated that) and after that I used what my parents' invested on my brain to begin build my own career.

I wasn't sure if I would lay the money down for the SC because I think its expensive as well. But a sting of some life events strike me that I think I can't agree with Mike more about life is too short. So I promised my wife to buy her the SC.

Yeah, I was kinda kidding about he gambling, I just made a few G's in Vegas on some nba basketball games and I'm trying to build a nice career also. Its a pain working but thats how we can afford all these toys. Youre car is tight! I'm still waiting to get a digital camera to take pics of my ride. I think I decided not to get the Wald Kit for now because I might scrape too much or rip of the front part. -Mike

zero help from parents for me. we paid off our gs400 ourselves and we pay for the sc430 now as well. it's all about what you want to do, and how you plan it. not easy that's for sure

and don't be accountant, mark? PPPPPLLLLLEEEEAAAAASSSSSSEEEEE...... just make sure you are not a damn engineer, it really sux man.....

I thought I was an average age at 45, but obviously not. Up here in Vancouver BC, all of the other SC430 drivers that I have seen are a little older than I. Hat's off to you young guy's for having such great taste in cars !
Mike from Surrey, BC Canada

Black on black 2002 SC430, TRD Rims and Luxlink !

Well I'm 60 so do I win a prize fo being the oldest.
I've been a car guy all my life and have had many
"Cool Cars" but the SC430 tops the list. My wife (68)
saw it on the internet and talked me into selling
my 99' Corvette Convertible. for a downpayment.
We had to get a loan for 15,000 2 years ago and
just paid it off last month. A 2002 free and clear
Should we trade up to a 2006? I think I can wait
till an 06' is a couple of years old then mabee we can
do it again for 15,000.

Someone famous (can't rember who) once said,
" If you didn't know how old you was how old would ya be?"
That fits our life.

With all due respect... where does one at your age come up with 33,500 cash?
