Default Exhaust upgrade for '02 SC430

Can anyone recommend and upgrade that would provide a nice throaty growl at take off but not be too loud for general riding? Does an upgrade like this affect warranty at all?

Thanks!

I've got the blitz and I'm happy with it. I was worried about a possible drone in different rpm ranges but there's none at all. The biggest difference is in the low end it's got a real deep tone other than that it's pretty subtle. If you are looking for a mustang type v8 sound you'll have to try something else.

How many good options is there? This might be a stupid question but does it add those 5 extra HP? I know a SC430 isnt a performance race car but I am just wondering what upgrades give you the most bang for the buck, not including NOS.

i am not sure about all the options out there, i think there are couple more like tom's or so. you can probably check out l-tunedparts.com for more info. but know there are more.

and added hp? don't even worry about it... if there is any hp gain you won't even notice it really imho. i would just get the exhaust for the sound

Blitz and TOMs have a supercharger kit and exhaust options. the superchargers are extremely expensive. I have the BLITZ exhaust...probably about $1000 the TOMs is more expensive. TOMs has suspension upgrades as well but i went with TEIN as have most others.

ZEEs has a nice looking exhaust for the SC as well but i don't know about availability

I have the blitz (the new version) on my 02 and to be honest, it did not make the difference I was hoping for. I wish it was deeper and louder! I would not buy it again. I think I made the wrong choice.

Of course, but shipping will be a pain.... we got the californian love here. Anyways, just hit me up when you want to get rid of it.

BTW, Jeff, if you hit the 55 millions CA lotto tomorrow I think you will change your plan....

As we all know around here timing is everything!
I was lucky enough to get the pipes from Blizz. I don’t know if he's still around the board anymore but at the time he was doing a complete Toms suspension. Turns out the undercarriage bracing would not fit around the blitz pipes so he had to get a Toms exhaust as well. I was the lucky guy that was first in line for that one.

ah so you inherented blizz' exhaust. that's very nice man

so the tom's brace only fits over the tom's exhaust? that's a bummer....
