Is there any way to get a smaller antenna or make it so it is shorter? Im used to having bulit in antennas and the one on my SC430 bugs me for some reason. I wouldnt mind if it just came up a foot or two instead of three feet. Any ideas?
Also what is the best wheel size for an agressive look if one day you might get a body kit. Is 20x9 in front and 20x10 in rear the best fit with the best look? I have 20x8.5 and 20x 9.5 and it doesnt satify me. Do you guys think I could put the 20x9.5 in front and buy 20x10.5 for the rear, or would that be a pain and too agressive/expensive? Ive been looking all over this forum and its hard to tell what size looks best if you want to go wide.

Yes, the antenna is available at Luxury Motorworks. Though the reception with the new antenna is not as good as the stock one, it's also not an eye sore like the original one either.
As for wheel size, I'm a fan of the 19" wheel for this car. Currently, I run 19x8.5 in the front and 19x10 in the rear. Although 19x9 can work in the front with the correct offset.

You can get the antenna from Luxury Motorworks for around $25. The antenna sits about 6 inches high and is not flexible. Installation is fairly simple, you just screw it in.

for wheels, 9 and 10 is pretty easy standard setup for the car, offset 24 front and back are good. you can easily do 10.5 in the back without any fender work, you can even go 11 if you want.
for the front, you have to be careful with tire size and offset with 9. 9.5 i think it might be pushing it

I'm confused now about the antenna b/c luxury Motorworks said it was only for some 2003 Sc 430's and would not work for my 2002. He said it was for the Lexus Link and not just for the radio antenna. I just want to have that small antenna for my radio and I dont even know what Lexus Link is. Am I out of luck? My stock antenna is the long retractable one that only goes up when I listen to the radio, thankfully. The said it was 40 bucks. Please help me figure this one out. Thanks, Mike.
For my wheels, I guess I will stick with my 20x8.5 & 20x9.5 set up.

Since I have a 2002 SC430 w/ retractable antenna I cant get this Lexus Link Antenna- dammit! I really wanted that, now I really have no options cuz they said it would be a huge pain to change that one out and nobody has done it before. Arrghh.
If anyone else had a retarctable antenna and changed it to something better please let me know.

I'd like to change it too Mike, but my '04 has the same power antenna as your car. By the way, the 'Lexus link' was the Japanese version of OnStar; was optional in '03, and dropped altogether in '04.
And guys, you just can't screw an antenna on a power-operated one. We'd have to remove the darn thing first, and buy a base with the threads on it. Not as simple as it sounds, since it seems to be a royal pain to get to the motor, and who knows how the base is secured. With the roof mechanism, doesn't look like an easy job. MIght leave it well alone. Cheers.
