Indeed, I like the way he has painted the kits.

Custom aero kits by modifying either the oem or the aftermarket bumpers are the trend in Japan.

In a more extreme case, the owner of this sc430 decided to cut 3 front bumpers(Tom's, Auto Couture and oem) to make a new one.

Part one

Combining 06+ Oem upper portion, 02-05 Auto Couture lower portion and 02-05 Tom's bottom portion.

Part two

adding 06-09 LS460 foglights

Wow that looks hot.. Must cost a grip to have that done. And the original designer of the kits must be pissed. lol.

Man that is badass and expensive. Are they mating together plastic and fiberglass bumpers?

Keeping the oem upper portion for a perfect fit. Very clever, but a lot of work.

The original designers will likely be pissed if and only if they can still recognize that bumper. lol

It also gives me lots of headache. lol

I was proud of my ability to recognize any aftermarket kit for the SC430 everytime I saw one, I now find myself scratching my head all the time everytime I see a new one.

Car owners also want their aftermarket kits to be unique and distinguished from each other, so they start to create custom built, one of a kind piece.

For example, this rear lip with a built-in JDM Fairlady Z (US Nissan 370Z) reverse fog light has puzzled me for a while.

bonnet hood spoiler?

And this custom bumper (job design modified ?) with a molded auto couture lip I have posted before.
