I wanted to bring this thread back to life so we can keep all the rim pics together. Maybe someone can make it a sticky? Makes it easier for people to compare and get ideas, instead of creating a new thread every week. Anyways, I just got my rotors installed with my new rims, decals, and painted calipers, I think it turned out great:

 

IsX50 wheels 18x8 front 18x8.5 rear on 225/40/18 front 255/40/18 rear Hankook Ventus V12

 

very nice, ive always liked SCs in indigo ink pearl. That was my second choice to black.

 

I was over at my local custom shop on Tuesday and the manager and I were talking about Sc's and he showed me this picture of some custom 3 piece wheels they put on another SC. Sweet! The owner wanted his wheels to match the saddle interior. I am usually not a fan of colored wheels but I really like these. Lots of $$$$!!

What the full story on this car? I know those are WALD rims. What size? Offset? What spring are they using? Any other details about the look (body kit?). Thanks for any help.

Manufacturer, style, size, any spacers used. Maybe even where you purchased them. I think they look great. Of course you had a very nice vehicle to start with.

 

18x8 standard sc430 size, no spacers, Touren TR60's. Not a high-end wheel but I think they look great on the car. These are the black with machined face. About $165 each. " Tires by Web" has them. I ordered through a local tire shop.

I sure did go through many wheels on my SC430

 

It can be confusing picking out a set of aftermarket wheels for your SC. There are so many awesome choices out there. I found a great tool to get an idea what your choice of wheel will look like on your car. You can adjust ride height, tire aspect, car color, etc. You can even spin the wheels on the car. Here's an example of some wheels I'm considering for my WGC 2006 SC.
