Just picked up 4 tires/wheels for a song. Takeoffs with 1400 miles from a nearby tire shop. Will mount my Pilot Sports on these and sell the tires. Will have original pie plates (and cheap plastic twists) for sale soon. Overall, a very inexpensive change and I like these much better than stock. Plus they are genuine toyota wheels. Already have lexus inserts to replace the toyota ones.

Just picked up an 05 for my youngest son who is 20yo and in college. He is going to Davis. Well, when they open back up that is. He has been driving a 93 LS400 for the last 3 years. He got an upgrade for his hard work. Anyway, needs wheels and tires. Car is on coilovers and has the LS400 BBK on the front. Any tips on finding wheels to fit? Won't be slammed but do plan to adjust the coilovers to give a good stance that won't be too low to get where he needs to. Not even sure if the BBK will be an issue when selecting wheels. But if you have crossed this road.......
Deep dish wheels-wasn't deep dish a pizza on special at Dominos?
ANyways, when I had a BW/280z, it always came down to reduction of unsprung weight (either my belly or wheel)..since I've not had luck with the former, gotta ask: are these wheels in pics above ALL forged alloy...someone said 'Work' wheels are pricey, but I don't know a days' work (eww!) from my backside...but, what is the price range for such goodies?
I would also add I am a Lexus idiot, who prefers scouring for OEM stuff rather than JDM or non-made vintage...so I don't have a pic, but which of the current Lexus wheels fit our STOCK SC 430"s? In short, I only like the ones which I think are multi spoke, very tasteful (just a bit of black winging molding at the base of the stems, usually 10 spoke.
Of course, it'd be cheaper to buy from a independent than pay for a golf course for a set of 4 from my Lexus parts dep't~~
Whatever it takes-I'd prefer painting them indigo ink to match, but methinks those crack/fade/don't like salt/are annoying if you have to replace them, etc>dreaming on!
Umm, I looked at some 'Ronal" euro wheels, and imho, these were design stolen off them...except the Ronald had a permanent round huge cap and side slits (kinda like a 90's Corvette)!
Nice pic set, but it would be nice if some of the informed owners or readers could identify brands/models/sizes?
A lot of what I'm seeing make the SC more of imitation Porsche/Mercedes or Mx5. Very few are "classic" even if the car isn't..ie. "old school, deep dish, WorK or JDM stuff...there must be far more in Japan!
^^ are those offsets wheel offsets? I'm surprised even with +45 at 9" and 265 you can still fit 30mm and still not be flush. I have stock pies with 32mm all around and I'm pretty flush already on stock height. Maybe the natural camber will help once I lower. I picked up a set of 19x8.5 +50, 19x9.5 +45 and I was wondering how they would fit.
