Default latest on run flat sensors

Can someone tell me the latest on what we are doing when installing aftermarket wheels that are not sensor compatible? I am buying a set of OZ racing wheels and the shops in Toronto cannot tell me what to do about the sensor. They are lost

Please help
Thanks

Thanks guys,
So leaving the light on is not a big deal? I mean can it lead to computer problems in the future and what will my dealer say when I take the car in for service? Lastly do I have to listen to a chime every 2 minutes or so?

Look at page 2 of the sticky FAQ thread, there is instructions to disable the warning lights.

the light or chime has not come on yet. About 20 miles on the new wheels, so just waiting for it to come on before deciding how to disable it.

actually it's not to disable the light, it's just a black tape over it i think?

it will be fine, ecu won't be messed up

I' ve never experienced starting the car without the sensors since my aftermarket rims have the tire pressure sensors on them.
I' ve had a nail on a tire once & the pressure went low with the light coming on first when I started it, & as I continue driving the car going to have them checked out & the pressure went lower, the beep comes on, & it's not constant.

so would it be smart just to buy another set of 4 sensors one for your rims and one for your stocks? shouldnt there be some way to rig them on?

I'm not absolutely 100 % sure, but I don't think they are. You can contact D2Autosports, he should be able to tell you.

heres my latest on the run flat sensors. only tried this on a 04 gx but i had one come in with a bad sensor. i didnt enter in any sensor id's and light didnt come on. check with ur dealer and see if they will erase the sensor id's. and if they tell you they have to enter in info. tell them u dont have to. if they look at the 06 gs3 with run flats there is no spare tire(in most cases) and there is only 4 sensor ids stored in the computer
