So the Camel leather / Expresso Bird's eye maple interior is an extra option for most of the exterior colors & not a replacement for any, since the Ecru / Golden maple, & Saddle / Walnut combinations are still available when you try to build one.

I obviously think the ecru/bird's eye maple combination was the best, and in a way I'm glad my car will be more unique. The best '06 combination is camel/expresso IMO. Ecru looks weird with Walnut.
I wonder if the rear taillights are retrofittable to our cars. Anybody knows?

Hey, did anybody notice the gauges changed? That's one thing I always hated about my car. They look much sportier and elegant at the same time. This and the 6-sp tranny I wish I had. I like the foglights and headlights of my car better, and the taillight design too, except I like the LED part (not on the turn-signals though).

I like playing with electronics and want to change out all the lighting stuff, maybe custom something in there to display but I am afraid to mess something up so I need a test dummy.

Hey guys, just got my Road & Track, and Lexus rated the SC at 288 HP but the GS at 300. Now we have reason to be pissed off
I bet what happened is the SC has much more restricted exhaust (and possibly intake), and Lexus just slapped the 300 figure from the GS to look good. No wonder it never felt like 300 (my GS4 did). Again, it has been like that all along, so it's not like it 'lost' power; it never had it to begin with. Later guys.

Im glad they didnt get rid of the Saddle as I personally love that color.(From any make and its quite a rare color) I saw a SC430 in black with the Saddle leatherin NY not to long ago. DAMN, what a great looking color combo. Classy.

Everyone goto Lexus.com, click on SC, the SC Road Test. The read the fifth paragraph under the boldface "Driving Impressions" heading. Same as 2002-2005.

Sexylexy, you didn't read my message. Check out the 'specifications' on BOTH the SC and GS, and you'll see the SC makes 288hp/317tq, vs the 300hp/325tq on the GS (BOTH 2006 figures). It's exactly like I said: Lexus just slapped the numbers from the GS on the SC, when they knew the SC had more restricted plumbing; they just couldn't cheat anymore under the new SAE rules. So YES, our car has less power than the GS, but at least more than the 278/312 on the LS. I also said NOTHING has changed on our car, so whether it has 200 or 288 hp since day 1, it still has the same performance. And don't laugh at the 200 man; it's pretty close to what it has at the rear wheels, which is the true measure of power.
NiceSC430, click on the 'SC', then to ' interior', then on 'photo gallery'. Finally, click on the 2nd photo from left to right.
Notice the white needle and nicer numbers; everything else is the same.
