Is there a way to remove that plastic round rivet on the belt without breaking or damaging it?
I have the ecru seatbelts. I thought about putting black shoulder pads to match the dash. This way the seatbelts wouldn't get dirty from pulling them all the time. Anyway When I put them on, the seatbelt buckle would hit the pad when not in use (retracted position) and would not retract all the way back into the harness so I would have some of the belt lying on the carpet. I need to move that round rivet that is on the belt down a bit so the buckle can move further down.

Is there a way to wash them or dye them black?
