Grand Canyon Pics
Took a nice 4 day drive to the Grand Canyon to visit some friends.
I found out SC's love the Grand Canyon, especially the well-maintained roads in AZ. They are MUCH, MUCH better than CA, NV or UT roads. Here's some pics:

Good call Henry.
Those are Iforged Seneka's in graphite.
Most folks think they are 19's - of course you got it right.
Went with 18's and a bit more rubber to preserve the Lexus ride on our terrible L.A. freeways. And, although these cars look awesome with larger wheels, everytime I'm on my way to Las Vegas, I'm glad I went with that setup.
In northern Arizona, you could run 22's and not notice a difference. There were a few times on my way back on Interstate 40 (old Route 66) where road crews had put up signs saying, "Rough Road." After a half mile, I'd be saying, "Well. Where is it?" I think if a small crack starts to develop, they put up a Rough Road sign - love those Arizonians! And their Canyon too!
Grand Canyon - The "original" GAP. Opened in 660,000,000BC.

i did Vegas to L.A last year as part of a family vacation that took us through most of California, Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. I really liked the coastal roads in northern California, but that straight stretch between L.A. and Vegas was horrible. We seen three seperate roll overs, and whats with route 66. it was a pretty boring drive

Route 66 was replaced by Interstate 40. There are still good little side trips on the "old road". And in Arizona, the traffic fines are double out of the box when comitted in a construction zone. We want our workers to make it home in the evening. Glad you enjoyed our state... But it's too Hot, you don't want to move here!
