OK then I think I'm going to try to black these lights out myself. Can some of you who've done it give me some tips on the proper way to split them open and then reseal them. Rom I don't want to hijack this thread so maybe we should start a new one. Feel free to move this to the proper spot!

Mhmmmm....I think I'm in love. I personally would have kept the leather on the dash board. But I probably would have to see the suede in person to see if I really like that idea or not. Maybe a darker color would look better(well in my opinion anyway).

My next Lex will be an SC430 when there are more performance upgrades on the market.

I held off on buying a Nissan G35 and kept my SC300 twin turbo cause I believe in the Toyota product!

Just to let you sc430 owners know that I am watching closely and wont sell out any time soon.

P.S. Even when I buy my SC430, I'll never let go of my twin turbo 5 speed SC300.

Take your time, these things dont just split apart quickly. And you hands are going to get super hot if your just gonna sit there with a hair dryer or heat gun. I think you might wanna get some help so you hands can take a break LOL. Anyways basically you just heat up an area when u see the glue melted then stick a flat head screw driver in there and pry it open a bit, and keep moving around the headlight till the assembly is taken apart. This is not a quick and easy task it might take you some time if you are not sure what you are doing. Also when you reseal it do heat up the glue again and add some more since you want to seal it up tight. or you could try removing all of the old glue and apply all new glue. So be caureful, dont break anything and that glue can get messy good luck I wanna see pics when ur done.

instead of heating up piece by piece from the beginning, put it in the oven first to heat up the whole thing

search and there are instructions
