Decided to post my setup. I know its aggressive but that's what I wanted. Went with a 325-25-20 out back with 285-30-20 up front. Ride is smooth and well planted on highway. Stock ride height and no scrubbing while turning up front. So to squash all theories about what will fit and wont fit. Now you have it. 4.5 rear lip and 3 inch front lip.

I was going to jump for an Enkei PF01/Michelin Pilot Sport A/S in 18" and sell off my dealer chromed Lexus wheels. But I'm making some suspension upgrades and want those to settle in before I make a change.
So, I am lead to believe - I could be wrong - that 17" wheels will fit the '02 nicely. This would give me a lighter combo, more sidewall (about an inch), and an overall smoother ride. It would also help avoid pothole damage. I will never go to a Big Brake Kit, although I may go to Stop Tech slotted Street/Sport kit using standard calipers when these bunnies wear down. I don't race the car nor will I ever.
Is anyone else using 17" wheels and tires for winter, summer, or all-season use? Commentary?

Hello
I'm looking at a set of rims from a 2016 RC350 awd and trying to figure out if they would fit my GF's 02 SC430..
The specs for the rims are below and if I am correct, the stock rims have 45mm offset..
Looks like the fronts would be fine if we ran a 245-30-19 tire, wondering if the rears would be good with a 275-30-19 or maybe 40?
Thanks in advance - Fleet
Front :
Size : 19x8
Offset : 45
Hubore : 60.1
Bolt pattern : 5x114.3
Rear
Size : 19x9
Offset : 51
Hubore : 60.1
Bolt pattern : 5x114.3

If you go for 245-35-19 and 265-30-19 ride is horrible but it looks nice. Just drive careful and don't hit pot holes at highway speed or you bend/break the rims.

Rims will fit. For tire I rec'd 235/245-40-19 for the front and 265/275-35-19. I don't think 275 will fit 19x9 properly.

Very nice. Does the rear fender hit the tire with that drop?
You should have gone for 245/40/19 in the front to match the rear side wall, and get a little more cushion.
I'm getting my front tires (245/40/19) this coming weekend, replaced my rear tires with 285/35/19 last week. My sidewall will be 245x40 = 98mm front and 285*35 = 99.75mm rear.

I debated doing the 40 front, but ended up with 35 all around. It's sooo much better than the 25/30 I had before.
I want to see pics of your setup!
