SC430 Owners:
I asked this several months back but did not get too much responce.
I just sold my GS400, and presently considering getting the SC430.
Please tell me your LIKES & DISLIKES about the SC430?

Did I say style?
Handling is amazing when propery set up
Affordable mods such as headers, intake,exhaust,etc....
Dislikes
Too much attention
No trunk space with top down
Throttle response could be better-get a TC
Run flats are the devils work-very hard and crummy ride
Doors are overly large-Old SC doors
rear seats-get rid of them and put storage in there
Car is a completely different experience vs the GS series. Drive one on an extended drive for best results.

Could you please elaborate on that statement for those of us who haven't driven an SC on an extended basis?

I like the interior and the electronics greatly. But I miss the dribvabilty and style of my SL, sigh. Of course the SL's electronics package was akin to stabbing ones eyes out with burnign toothpicks in quality, but everythign else I loved about it.
I don't miss the fact that the SL cost 2 SC430's tho lol.

I find that I like the SC more the more I drive it.

To all:
Sorry for not responding sooner (football season).
Thanks for the input, I will test drive on this week.
How bad are those Run-flats??? Do they make the car run rough?? My GS was pretty smooth considering I had 18" after-market wheels.
Do all of the sc430 come with the run-flat sensors??? I read on FAQ about the BS one has to go through with those sensors.

Everything is right where it should be within reach.
Reliable & solid
Disikes:
Handling (yes, even after lowering via Coilovers & Daizen Sways) Still too floaty
Runflats were a bit jarring (while I had them)
Seats have minimal lateral support
Small'ish trunk. especially with top down
Steering wheel audio controls aren't in the most convenient place
Could REALLY use a rear camera. Hard to see anything through the back window.
As posted above, throttle response is far too slow.

Which coilovers do you have? My PSS's have an xtremely flat ride with not even a hint of float. A bit too stiff in fact.
I also agree that the audio controls on the steering wheel are misplaced.

hmm, have not tried those yet.
All I can say is that these PSS's are considerably stiffer in the SC vs my GS. For handling and steering input they are fantastic, however it's an e-ticket ride on rough roads. I just had an alignment completed and am very satisfied with the handling other than how it reacts to rough roads.
