Pricing for SC430?

Pricing for SC430?
I found 2 SC430's locally. Both are CPO'ed.....both are 2002.
One is $42,995 with 14k miles, the other is $41,995 with 21k miles.
Normally, how much can you get a dealer to go down pricewise if you negotiate? I was hoping to steal that 14k one for $41 or even $40 if possible, but that might be dreaming.
Also, I assume there were no odd issues with the 2002's even though they were the first SC430 production year?

Trade-in on a 2002 with 14k is 36k.....
I test drove the 14k one tonight....salesman said the $42,995 was pretty close to what he could go to....give or take a few hundred.
Is this normal salesman BS? Should I push for more off? I want $41k.

Ain't that the truth! They are ALWAYS in the game to make money. I heard the ,"sell right above invoice", "we need to get rid of it so were selling at cost", "we need room in the lot", "your getting an incredible deal", "I'm might get into trouble for this". All BS.
