Hey Lee, do you happen to have any pictures of the wire that was causing the Change Bulb light to go off? IE the voltage/current that you were trying to bring down. I should be getting my 06 tail lights soon and want to take a crack at getting the light off without buying the ECU.

No I do not. I had it along with all of the voltages but decided against pursuing it as I did not care of the resisters-too home made in my book. Just get that ECU man, it is so much cleaner and the way the car should be anyhow vs rig'n something.
BTW Tony my brake project got pushed up as the guy with the LSD/3.76 (well known Supra owner) screwed me out of it claiming it shipped with tracking yet nothing was ever picked up and now he refuses to respond+ he bid on one on Ebay after I paid him which tells me he never had one to sell me
I HATE THIEVES AND LIARS! Paypal is reversing the charge. So I am using that $$$ to get the front brake rotors and hats so be patient as those Supra TT brakes are coming your way soon. I will probably just get an LSd for the 3.92 diff sitting in the backyard.

Damn sorry to hear about the ebay mishap. Look at it this way just upgrade to 20's already and the 3.92 diff will act like a 3.76

btw, after the installation i noticed something. the 02-05 taillights, they are completely flat and flush with the body
however, the 06, they actually bulk out a bit, kinda like the headlights where they are not completely flush. at the edge they curves back in and stay flush with the body. that's pretty darn nice

Lee, Great writup and research !! I am glad to have "pointed you" in the right direction in looking for that 06 ECU !!! History always repeats itself !! I did that ecu upgrade when I went from 87 to 89 tail lights on the older 7GTE Supra, and olso when I went from 94 to 98 Tail lights on the last Gen MKIV Supra !!! Will post some pix as soon as I get my set in !!
