Just received my tails in the mail from Carson Toyota! I hope to get an LED bulb soon for the turn signals then I'll install them both at the same time.
Does anyone know for sure if the turn signal flasher hyperblinks on an SC430 and/or the bulb out indicator illuminates when an LED turn signal bulb is used?
I could also use some help in selecting a bulb, so far this is one of the best looking ones I've come across. It's got a ton of LEDs so with any luck, the light output might actually be brighter too. autolumination.com. Anyone have any experience with these?

yeah, i've tried those LED bulbs too but it won't fit/go thru the current opening, although the bulbs were IDed as same type...
we need to find a amber LED bulb that has a profile allowing it to go thru the OEM bulb fitting....
maybe a modified row of amber LEDs would look better in there...

I'll let you know if I get good results from these. Thus far, the only bright LEDs I've found are made by Luxeon and these are available only for 1156/1157 applications right now. If nothing else works, I'll probably end up making my own LED bulbs.

Helloooooo! You have posted this three times now. Please see my lengthy answer on the other post. No need to post the same question on three different threads. This forum is very fast to respond, trust me. Unless we don't know...
Here are all the parts you will need.

Hey there...This is a great thread, even if it's a few years old. Does anyone still have the pictures, by chance? They have dropped off the thread. Most of it's self explanatory, but the "trim" that needs to come off, in order to take out the old, and put in the new "wire harness" could use some pictures. Those are the only ones i need. I ordered everything today, and am supposed to get it next week. Just going through the install, and doing some prep work, but ran into a snag, as i'm not sure what "carpet trim piece" to remove, to get to the harnes...Any help would be greatly appreciated...Thanks!
