06 Tail light install with PICS

No doubt...you know where your priorities are...fix the upper arm and bushings then wheels, then tails, then ipod, etc etc.
Check with ATL Toyo dealers for the suspension work.
NTB does good 4 wheel alignments (you can get a 1 year, 2 year, or lifetime) for a good price and with all the mods you are planning to do that is good-because you will need alignments after you add wheels and coilovers, etc. You can usually get coupons too at www.ntb.com
Also Valvoline Instant Oil Change www.vioc.com does good fluid work for a very reasonable price (about half what Lexus charges) if you need rear diff, tranny, coolant done quickly. They also have coupons too.

This is what I am referring to. In Japan and Europe, they have side repeaters. More common on side mirrors nowadays.
I want to install them on the SC. Am looking at a Scion Tc side repeater, they look like the original SC repeaters:

Yes, the 2010 SC's have side mirror turn signals integrated into them.

No U.S. SC430 came with fender side markers like you are referring to. Soarers overseas did, however. Not sure on SC430's, though. I'm looking at some Japan cars (J-spec or JDM) and they are not showing them anymore for 2010. They might have discontinued with the mirror signals, as that is now overkill probably. Here is a 2010 JDM

Why don't you just do the mirrors? They are a bit pricey, but there are some on eBay right now brand new for $450ish. Here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LEXUS...Q5fAccessories
They have several colors...one is $399

Update: Confirmed 2009 and older SC430's overseas (JDM) had front quarter panel turn signals.
Here's a pic of one:

You the man! 2010 they revised the side mirrors to add the repeaters.
I have downloaded a few pictures of the Japan SC's to tell me where the side repeaters go. This is my next project. $50 worth of lights and some elbow grease. My Dremel has found another good use! I installed this side repeater on my RX330. Pretty good safety feature. JDM look, too.

Would love the mirrors with the repeaters but based on the RX side mirrors with repeaters and puddle lights, it included a lot of re-wiring, it was a PIA. Went with quater panel repeaters which was much less expensive. Then again it is just me.

PICS Please!!!!!!!!! Love this modification!!! One of my favs. Any learnings or counter points or different approaches to the mod? Did you do the chrome bulbs? Did you wax the panels and lights before you slid them out?

I didn't wax, but I put masking tape around the lights to prevent scratching. I was going to get the chrome bulbs, but I don't have the patience to wait for them. Could not find them locally either, so I went with amber. Followed instructions and did it in less than 2hours. Now that I know how to do this, I could probably do it again in 30 min.
