man.. you don't know what you want, you would be better off not buying it

It is nice that we have lee to test every new toy for us.
hahha, if lee asks you what color to choose (no pun intended to threads about this though), then you better believe his computer is hacked

i think lee brings a lot of light to this forum

Thanks guys for the compliments. Anything I can do to assist others in mod'd the SC430 tastefully as I am seeing more people come onboard.

price wise I am not sure. Certainly well below $800.00. 2x$256=$512+ecu which list for a tad over $200 but I am sure the Carson price would be better. Should know pricing this coming week from Carson.

On a side note I believe the lights are brighter including the brake lights and turn signals. Could be the correct voltage going to the lights with the new ECU. As stated I am not sure but they sure do look brighter.

Plus over 3000 hits on this post. Appears to be alot of interest in it.

Not all that difficult Lisa. I am sure someone would be able to assist in the process.

hahaa, lee, you shoul djust purchase a bunch and let's have an install day at your home, should we?

so you saying that with the new ecu setup, the taillights look brighter than before with the old ecu (and the warning light)? that's interesting findings if so!

Default turn signal

hi lee, congrats !

btw, on the 06 lights, is the turn signal yellow, still an incandescent bulb? if so, how bright are some of these mx LED yellow colored bulbs?

speaking of which, i tried to get a LED bulb and put it into where the red/stop bulb is and i couldn't 'cause the bulb is too big and won't fit through the hole.... obviously a bad design , plus the warning light probably will be set off then.....
and if you get a turn signal yello, it 'd probably flash too fast....

i did look, briefly, into a poorman's version of LED upgrade....

Hi Jim,

Yes the turn signal bulb is a regular though hard to find bulb. The style of it is much nicer in my opinion. Check out the litte movie link above for a look.
Should drop by and show you the next time I am in LL at the driving range.

Hey Lee great job man. Just wanted to post to all Club Lexus members. The price for the ecu will be $170.00. That's 25% off the Lexus list. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. If you are ready to put your order in for the ecu, you can call me or Gordon at 800-908-6968

Can someone please post the part numbers for all of the elements in the kit? I live really far from Carson and would rather buy non-returnable parts/SOP in person, face-to-face. the ECU part number was posted already, but I couldn't find the others:

1 qty left lower taillight:
1 qty left upper taillights:
1 qty right lower taillight:
1 qty right upper taillight:
2 wiring harness for new taillights:
2 new amber bulbs for turn signals:
