TOM's Strut Brace Bar installed

TOM's Strut Brace Bar installed
I installed the TOM's strut brace today on the SC. See pics.
Install was a breeze and the unit is pretty solid. It even has a hole over the strut portions to adjust those struts if they have that option. However the Tein EDFC will not under these.
Now normally these strut bars do nothing for handling or feel. Most of the improvement is subjective depending on how much someone spends on them. I tried 3 different ones on the GS4. Made no to very very little difference even when pressed hard with good rubber in corners. Plus I am not a fan of one piece braces as you risk throwing off the alignment each time you remove them to get to plugs, throttle body, or other engine component.
Now on my 968 Cab it made a difference as the car is an open body. I am hoping for the same with the SC430 as the body does have a bit of flex in it. I will know more later once I put on some good hard miles on the car if flex has been improved. For now I am happy with it even if only for looks for now as it fits nicely and does not rub on the engine cover as some others for other cars I have had. I did add washers under the nuts as they will eat away easily at the material on the STB. Been there before.
Purchased from Carson. Thanks guys.
