I've built up a good relationship with the mechanic at my local dealership. He's done both airbags replacements now with no issues. The most recent was a month ago and I asked him to inspect the servo motors in question while the dash was out. I'm a little surprised that he reported all looked fine yet, this morning, the noise was as pronounced as ever. Maybe he "forgot", or maybe just had tunnel vision for the airbags replacements?
