Has anyone heard that you can play DVD movies on the Nav system? My salesperson warned against it, but I am kinda curious.

is it against the law to mod the nav system or just impossible , I haven't seen one reply on the subject yet sup with dat

When the LS430 first arrived at the dealership that was one of the first things we HAD to do. On with the seat AC, massagers, and a DVD music video. It will not work with the car in any position other than park. I can't think of a reason why it would hurt the system. The salesperson probably warned against it thinking it would work driving down the road and figured you might crash hence possible liability etc.
