Does anyone have a source for trunk lid struts (supports)? My dealer says they only come as a whole mechanism at $175 each.

The lift support for the deck lid is a sealed unit so parts are not available. They can be had for around $125.00 depending on your relationship with your dealership. $175.00 is around list price. At this time I am not aware of any aftermarket replacements.

My strut supports went out and was covered in the warranty. I was quoted at $50.00 each. Check with the Toyota parts people.
