My wheel man is out of Philly, he helps develop the SASE tests for wheel guys. He actually suggested 21's when I did my wheels so it can surely be done. I didn't do it, but I've seen several SC430's since with them at different shows around the world and I personally like the look.

No offense meant here to the reset of the group but Tony keep in mind that this is a pretty conservative group so your not going to get a lot of extreme customizers here (and my gut says if you want 21's then you've done some pretty extreme things to cars). I personally believe you can take ANY car to the extreme and still be in good taste, so as long as you like the look and are willing to live with whatever the consequences are you should go for it!

yea I am pretty out there, me and my friends have usually been ahead of most people as far as show cars go. Keep in mind me and most of my friends were on 19's with pain jobs full body kits and tv's all around when people thought 17's and a lip kit were hot stuff 5 years ago. Most of us since then have retired from the rice boy scene but big rims are still nice . I personally like bigger rims because when lowered just enough to tuck a little bit of tire, you get an inch or so extra so your kit doesnt hit the speedbumps or have to do S turns as much. But I value everyones opinion even if I agree or dont agree. Its just nice to know what everyone else is thinking.

I agree with almost everything you said...except the conservative part. Yes, I believe 21's are too much for this car but not for every car. They look great on a 300c. No suv should have less than 21. I'm not sure but I belive the sc430 is about 177 inches long. That is way too short a car for 21's. Plus, it's a classy car which requires even more than things fit, that there's a certain symmetry there. The debate is not whether you can make them fit but do they look appropriate for the car. People can do what they want, I'm all for that but I can't see doing this.
No offense taken.
