Default hmm 21's or not

I have always been a fan of big rims, so when people are putting 20's on their SC it doesnt seem enough for me. I dont really care about keeping the same diameter wheel as stocks. I never seem to do it anyways. I am just wondering what you guys think are some negatives and what setup I should go far.

All staggered setups

choice A. 20's all around
choice B. 21's all around
choice C. 20's up front 21's in the rear
choice D. 22's all around? is this even possible

Ohh yea and I am leaning towards 21's all around. of course I am going to get a kit and lower it btw

I would vote for 20" staggered, the SC is a short car and 21's would make it look like it was "high centerered" on somthing I would imagine.

it depends on your priority. if all you care about is aesthetic, than go with 21. if you value performace more than appearance then stick with 18" wheels.

This guy has a 21 in the rear but I assume your only option for choice C would be Lowenhart.
Most wheel manufacturers do not make 21s as there are very few tire sizes to choose from.
Another wheel I can think of would be the Giovanna Drama but then this wheel only
comes in a 21 (no 20s) plus I have already seen an SC with the Drama on all four corners
but I didn't like the look of it at all imho...
Now it is very clear that you will be going way past the factory diameter by putting 21s
and especially in the front, you will have major rubbing without working on the fenders.
To avoid rubbing you will most likely be keeping the stock ride height so now you have
to make the decision whether to take the wheel diameter or the overall appearance
by having a good balance of wheel size and ride height.
For me, I would never want to stay with the normal height regardless of what size I would
be able to put in...

Im with D2, I dont think it will sit right. I think 20s are perfect as evidenced by the SC430s with 20s on this site.

Usually, I say to do what you feel. In this case I'm going to strongly recommend not going over 20. The car is too small for wheels that big. It will look like one of those ghetto pimp cars. If that's the style you're after, go ahead. The car is too classy for that look though.

20's is the max I'd go, actually I don't even think 19's are too small for the car, I've seen pics with 19's & they look good to me, bigger doesn't mean better, 21's are too big already, the SC is too classy for those . . .

I probably would go for 19 with staggered set up. 21" is too big.

good opinions, I'll definently reconsider going back down to 20's. As for 19's they are super small. Maybe its a southern thing
