Anyone notice it seems easier to get flats easier with the runflats?
On my old car I had a set of michelin pilot sport 225/40/18 installed and rarely got a flat...
with this car, 245/45/18 with the stock bridgestone runflat 040, i seem to get flats alot more easily from pothole impacts and such...
would the still sidewall have to do anything with it? (less give maybe?)

that said, i was thinking of swapping them out for a non-runflat set...
The runflats ride hard, esp over hard surfaces and potholes... finding a replacement is a *****.. and everytime i get a flat, the tires usually fail at around the 50 mile mark(not the 100 as advertised)
Last time I got it changed out at the dealer, it cost $375+ plus installation...

and when I asked the dealer about the 'ROAD HAZARD REPLACEMENT WARRANTY'(in the owners manual supplement) they basically said its not their problem and to contact bridgestone. I call up bridgestone and they say to bring it to a bridgestone center... I bring it to the bridgestone center and they were like, you didnt buy tires from us, so we dont handle it... bascially a runaround everywhere...so much for lexus total satisfaction...even though it says in their book (pg35-47). no replacement, no pro-rated adjustment, no nothing!)

interesting, cz' i hit couple of pretty bad potholes and such, even high speed on freeway, and my runflats were still ok

not that i miss them at all, of course
