I think I am going to join most of you guys and get the soarer emblem for my front grill. I guess everyone has got them from ebay? Is there something I should watch out for when ordering from ebay? Any phonies. If anyone can reccomend a good seller i would appreciate it. Oh and will it fit an 06

Based on what Rominl put up about his close encounter with the 06'. The front emblem is part of the grille now. Since Toyota officially convert Soarer to Lexus SC, there is no new Griffin emblem and the base unit to fit the new grille. Hope this helps.

 

correct. the 06 grille, you can't really take off the lexus emblem anymore and leave the horizontal slats. so i don't think you can fit the griffin emblem at all

 

i think you need a new bumper too because the old grille won't fit the new bumper... It works on Gee's car because he is having the Tom's bumper put on (I think).

 

that's what i think as well. the 05 bumper is different

 

05 grill wont fit 06 bumper, 05 bumper wont fit 06 car , headlight change in 06 ( AFS System )

I wonder if the 06 hood is different also , anyone with a parts catalog ?

Man, I'd love to but I may have to step out. I just looked at my budget for this years mods...Whew! Rebuilding the engine and painting the car took all my allowance. Maybe if I do the wife some "favors", she'll let me get it...
