The back dust shield would have to be trimmed down to facilitate the larger sized calipers. No biggie.

So let me understand this. If I were to get Stoptech (or if I could afford it, Brembo), from what I understand, I would have to look for wheels with a different offset to compensate for the calipers. Would the TT brakes have the same "problem"?

Are you OEM wheels now? If so, yes. Not only offset, but you need the wheels to be high disk. The TTs are even bigger than the Brembo or StopTech 4-piston calipers.

Yes, you would look for front wheels with the ,"High disk" option. TT brakes actually require more room than others. Henry can provide some good information on this as well. Wheels on Ebay generally state whether they will clear big brakes or not and the wheel forum here has good information from some very helpful folks on what will clear and what will not if you find some wheels you like. Also it is not just the offset but the design of the wheel as well.

Thanks, I think I will keep my eye out for some calipers and do the upgrade when Mom needs new brake pads.
