Do you remember your first thoughts when you saw the SC 430??

The first time I saw it was in a magazine introducing it. They have a red one in the pictures, & frankly I thought it was cute but strange looking & didn't think it was for me.
That all changed when I finally saw it in the showroom in person. They have a red one & a Twilight Amethyst Pearl, & they were demonstrating the hardtop convertible mechanism of the Amethyst to a customer who had pre-ordered it and waited for months.
I was very impressed immediately by the overall build quality inside & out, particularly the interior, which I thought belongs to a much more expensive car.
As for the exterior style, it took me some time to grow on it, but believe me, it's the paint on the car rather than the style that impressed me the most the first time I lay eyes on it. It looks black at one angle & as I walk to look at it in another angle, it turned to the deepest, glossiest & most gorgeous purple paint I' ve ever laid eyes on.
I wasn't completely sold on the exterior until I looked at the car more with the top up & saw the unique sculptural quality of it's lines that's seldom found on any car. I particilarly like the car's side profile with the top up which looks very cool to me, it remains my favourite angle today. After that, I knew that it will be one of the cars on my shopping list, & about a year later, it's mine

Excellent stuff guys. Keep the stories coming. It's all I have as I count down the days. Funny thing is I don't recall any of the SC ads.

No offense but I bought the sc in part because I havent seen any hooked up ones. I dont like buying cars that everyone else has thats hooked up. I like being more unique. Maybe its just a florida thing, too many old people driving them.
