Default HELP! Must Remove Sticker From Exterior

HELP!

My son placed a patriotic 4" circular sticker on the rear of my SC 430. An initial attempt to remove it by hand and fingernail indicates it's pretty tightly fixed. How can I remove the sticker without harming the beautiful finish?I

u need to get some fuel or gas if you from the states, get some cloth dab it with fuel and soak the sticker round it, it will penetrate the sticker or the outer edges and keep doing this until the sticker comes off. Hey dont be mad at the little one, only a kid.

I agree with using the 3M Adhesive Remover. Although a popular alternative, I wouldn't use gasoline.

I guess I'll go try 3M Adhesive Remover.
I usually use Goo Gone.

Hairdrier at warmest setting will soften the glue and'll allow you to peel the sticker. Then the googone (but try saliva first) to remove any remaining adhesive. Finally, save the sticker, and when your son gets his first car, stick it to it.

guys i said used fuel (gasiline) as in the uk the fuel sold here is 95-98 ron, which also contain additives, its good if someone sprays ure car (vandalises) it or even house paint or tar, and it wont damage the paintwork, as most off the shelf products do.

You guys all forgot the first step:

1. Smack your son for doing something stupid

Then... Use goo-gone - I've removed several stickers from cars with this stuff and it works great.

Works every time. Use the hairdryer properly and googone will not be needed.
As a practical joke, some people at work placed 5 bumper stickers printed from their computer that read, "Honk if you also like men", etc........... others I will not post. Wifey noticed when I got home. I knew then why I was getting so much attention in a beat up car going home. I was not amused back then, but giggle nowadays.
