Hello all, wanted to know, what is the Quietest/Longest wear (great thread wear rating)
I can buy for my SC430 (OEM size 18").....
are the Kuhmo ASX ok? versus the more expensive Michelin Pilot A/S. ?
please let me know.....I also heard, after driving 10K miles on All season tires that noise levels go way up? is this true about these all season tires?
thanks.....

After replacing the original Dunlop Run Flats with Yokohama ES100 which by the way are terrible and very, very noisey, I bought Sumitomo's HRT+. They are High Performance all season tires, excelent tread wear, quite, handle great, look good on the car and the best part, they are $102 from the Tire Rack (www.tirerack.com).

after 1,300 miles (1,000 of those miles on one trip), I am very pleased with the grip, noise level and appearance (they have a similar pattern to the Mich Pilot A/S). They are also Japanese made (by Bridgestone) and are under $150 at Tire Rack. The difference vs. run flats (as every member who has done it has said) is quite remarkable.

I need some advice from you Zaino users out there. I have a 2003 SC 430 and the black paint looks pretty good. I went ahead and took all the wax off with Dawn detergent like they said.
I have now put three coats of Z5 on, which is suppose to hide light scratches and swirls, and it doesn't look that much better. 3M hand glaze did a better job of hiding them than Zaino. I am also putting on Z6 gloss enhancer between coats.
Any idea why the scratches and swirls aren't being hidden better? The Zaino compliments make the stuff seem like magic, but I can 't tell the difference yet.

kumho is actually a big brand in the US its because they are one the cheapest tires available. But their quality is actually pretty good considering how cheap their tires are.
