I must face the fact that the SC430 is here to stay... I went to the florist I usually patronize and the co-owner has a SC4. Then I noticed a 430 damn he "sold out" now he has a SC430... He and I talked about the new car and the old SC.
He said, that he was not impressed by the looks at first, but it hit him in a big way. He also said, that all it took was a test drive with the top down, then he was hooked.. He was nice enough to take me on a ride on the free way.{he was sucking up because I was buying a very nice$$$$ set of flowers for my wife again}
I always loved the interior... but then BLING!!! The top was coming down... ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh S#@T! it was happening...:eek: I was digging the SC430... The car started and off we went for a 10 minute cruise... Mr. Levinson singing in my ear....
Please Jacob don't go back!!!

The attention was there as we headed back to the shop.. Top down, every one looking... The responsiveness of the car is all Lexus, the chassis was solid, the panache was all there.... Did I say the interior is so damn cool?

I'm a fan of the SC430 now!!!

With the body kit it gives it the edge it needs. I've said it again and again. The interior is gorgeous.
The car is a great performer. The 0-60, 1/4 times are equal to the GS4, but it is always over looked. The skid pad g. is better, and the slalom speed is faster and the top speed is much faster. However the SC has been over looked since the media hype and promotional focus has been taken away from the coupe and directed to the GS in 98'.
Manaray, I must admit the car has grown on me, but the driving(in my case riding) pleasure is all Lexus. I never doubted this at all. I still want the quad lights and reduce the grill a little. Wishful thinking...
430 guys nice cars you own... I'm sure more of the Gen1 SC guys will "see the light" once they get the chance to drive one/ride in one.
