Thanks for the info. I saw some postings on the lextreme website about the piston landings being weak. My concern about the LMS setup would be the extra injector. I'm worried about proper fuel disbursement.

Well as stated I do not know of anyone that has that setup so it is difficult to know for sure how well it works. I suppose they are using the additional injector in lieu of larger inejctors which would save money I suppose but as you stated I would also be worried about proper fuel distribution. Other kits like mine utilized 370cc or 440cc (very large) injectors for their S/C setups. Best bet is to give them a hollar and post their replies here.

3uzfe Pistons failure
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Believe it or not for the past two weeks there were two 3UZFE with supercharger blew the motor. They both were running Procharger C2 and ran about 6 psi. I am not sure if these two owners got the SC system from the same company, they both blew their motors.
From my personal experience the 3uzfe rods are weaker then 1uzfe and Lexus are known to have weak ring lands. I just couldnt believe it with only 6 psi it can do so much damage. Both systems were factory tunned before shipping.
Why did those pistons failed? Very interesting question nevertheless. I would expect at least 11 psi or so that 3uzfe can handle.

Interesting but it depends on the setup and no two systems are alike and cannot be setup or tuned at the factory with hopes that it will bolt up and expected to work reliably. An add-on FI kit must be tuned on the car itself.
My setup was running over 9psi with no issues on my 1uz for several thousand miles.
But different blowers create different effects-mine being a Vortec. A person could blow up a motor with 1psi if not tuned correctly. Not saying that those folks do not know what they are doing, just that one cannot expect to attach a blower to a car ,add an injector and expect to run reliably as I have seen so many try and then place blame elsewhere.
The land could very well be the weak point in the engine along with the connecting rods but ....I did not see anything over at lextreme that really gives the cold hard facts that prove or disprove this. Just because connecting rods are smaller does not mean they are weaker or stronger. Alot of rumors over there and much of it repeated until it is taken as truth , unless I missed something.
Again I just do not see any truth to what it thrown around about the 3uz motor. Just what this person heard or that person heard or this person knew someone that did this or this person bought a block with bad pistons so the design must be flawed..........But... I suppose I will KNOW for sure soon enough and once I have actual facts, of course I will share them.

I hate the rumor thing as well. I have a C2 unit on my car and I was hoping to get some responses on similar setups. I only did a couple of dyno runs. Stock at 242hp and 286 with 3lbs boost. I forgot the N20 hp numbers but remember 412 rwtq. A piston landing on one of my pistons DID break when I went to a smaller pulley. My boost gauge was showing between 7-9lbs boost. I DID NOT have the fuel ecu dyno tuned with this setup so blowing the engine was probably my fault. After that happened I saw the postings on the 3uzfe piston failures and thought that this may be a common occurence on boosted cars.
So chalk me up as one of those cars......but the failure was probably because I always tinker with things that I dont know enough about.

I only ran the N2O a few times. Killed a few cars with that setup.Never used it after the install of the supercharger. Engine blew when I went with a smaller pulley. As far as cheap horsepwer, I been pretty lucky with the last 3 N2O installs I had.
Engine will not be complete until the end of april.
Gee Bee....I found a picture of my Tom's hood. Look at the link.
