Default LMworks supercharger for SC430

I talked to the guys at luxury motor works. its $7,500 for the supercharger kit for the SC. they say that youll have 120+ hp increase. its a bolt on kit that they made im guessing, but they get the blower from Pro Charger. there suppost to send me installation instructions so i kno exactly what im working with. Also i need to know if the Blitz exhaust is worth getting???

um...what was your question about the supercharger? I think alot of people on here were happy with their blitz exhausts. You should do a thread search about any questions you may have, chances are we have already discussed it at length.

i have to say though, i have never seen the charger in person or drive it or, and i don't think there is any long term reliability test on it. so i wont' comment on it. but judging from their quality of work and level of carelessness on extremely simple stuff, i might pass.

i do have their luxlink on my car though, it's pretty neat stuff. but lee has found out the company that makes the stuff, so you can get it for cheaper (for autostart, at least). now just wonder when lee is going to come out with his own supercharger setup, that's going to be nice

The design plans are buried deep in a long lost cave surrounded by roads with potholes in them to keep Lexus owners away. Until the day they are needed. Hopefully shortly.

HAHA, all it takes is couple of losses for you, right?

Couple? Man, replaced one new wheel already. One more and I will be at my average for a set of wheels. I have the worst luck in wheels/tires. Instead of TPS in my tires I should install rabbit feet! Roads out here just suck and a new hole comes up out of nowhere everyday. Sorry off topic. Back to topic. That supercharger setup looks good. Just that I do not know of anyone with any long term usage out of one to give some insight.

I thought someone mentioned the pistons going on this setup. Nobody seems to want to respond on the validity of this rumor.

Stock pistons are good for up to 500hp, at least on my GS it was as well as others here as long as the tuning is correct.

1uz or 3 uz? I know the 1uze rods have alot more meat to them. 3uz rods are the size of your pinky.

Yes I've heard of that too. Pistons may be strong but the actual rods are very tiny and small, like the size of a pinky like Weny said.

I will have to look into it. Only a handfull of blown 430's are out there with stock internals and have not heard a negative thinkg about them .......yet.
