This "chassis" will replace most of the Supra in the GT500 field. I think its 3 SCs and 2 Supras.

So far in testing the new SC hasn't done that well. It's around a second off the times of the Z and NSX. Just got to wait and see how much they can work out between now and season opener on the 19th.

Definately not for me, as if the car isn't heavy enough already !! 
And NO, I'm not taking out any luxury equipment/parts from my car to compensate for the weight gain . . . Plus the looks, it's OK for a track car, but not for regular use on the road.

Unfortunetly Super GT isn't on US TV. Speed channel covered one or two races a few years ago, but that was before they were bought by Fox and became a big Nascar commercial.

The must have reinforced the roof where it meets the pillars and welded it shut because flexing in the roof is not good for a stable chassis. I knew they were using 3UZ-FE engines in JGTC races but didn't think they'd ever use the SC...exciting news!
And Lee, by the looks of the blacked out taillights, its a 2006 model with LED taillights!!
